Q: How do I know what applications or files can be customized with sounds?
A: Agent Audio is smart. It will only allow you to open applications or files that contain sounds. If you can't open a particular program or file, then it doesn't contain any sound resources. Therefore, you can't customize it.
Q: Can I use other sound formats like .WAVs or .AIFF sounds?
A: Only "Agent Audio Pro" allows you to do this. For more information, see the "Agent Audio Pro CD-ROM" section in on-line help or the manual included.
Q: What if it won't open a program I KNOW has sounds?
A: If you have a program you know contains sounds, make sure it doesn't have a specific file seperate from the actual program. These files are usually named "<application name> sounds." If this isn't the case, the developer of the software did not use the standard System 7 resource method of incorporating sounds and they cannot be replaced.
Q: Can I add sounds to programs or files?

Q: What do I do with my "Sound Archives?"
A: It's a good idea to store them somewhere on your hard drive. That way if you ever wish to return to these sounds, you have them saved. To restore them to the original program or file, open the program or file into the Destination File list and archive in the Source File list. Then, simply replace the sounds.
Q: What are "Replacer Agents?"
A: Replacer Agents are save your customized sounds to applications which enable you to quickly change your sounds in a specified file or application without having to always do it manually through Agent Audio. Q: Why does it say I need to allocate more memory?
A: Applications that have sounds use RAM to play them. Usually the creators of the software have a certain amount of RAM set aside to play the sounds they include with the program. When you replace a sound with another that is significantly larger than the original, it may cause the program to need more RAM to support the new sound(s).
Q: Why can't I delete sound resources from the Destination File list?
